ARISS Russland plante SSTV Übertragungen direkt von der ISS. Die Übertragungen starteten am Donnerstag, den 11. April, ab 18.00 Uhr (UTC) und dauerten ca. 72 Stunden an, bis ca. 18:00 Uhr (UTC), Sonntag, dem 14. April. Die ISS Crew nutzte einen Computer im ISS Russian Segment, welcher die Bilder gespeichert hat und ein Kenwood TM D710E Funkgerät, welches im Service Module der ISS installiert ist. Die Übermittlungen konnten auf der Frequenz 145.800 MHz empfangen und mittels dem Mode PD-120 dekodiert werden.

Am Sonntag, dem 14. April, habe ich mich zu den Überflugszeiten nach draussen gestellt und versucht mit meiner portablen Arrow Jagi-Antenne, meinem ICOM IC-E92D und einem iPhone mit der SSTV App, die Bildübertragungen zu empfangen. Nachfolgend seht ihr die Resultate:

Am Donnerstag, dem 11. April, um 12.55 Uhr (UTC) oder 14.55 Uhr nach Schweizer Sommerzeit, war ein Kontakt mit Studenten der Ecole des Charmilles, Thyez, Frankreich geplant, organisiert durch Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) .
